Final exam
AP Literature has been an amazing journey. There have been many sleepless nights when I have stayed up until all hours of the morning putting the finishing touches on projects, or cranking out the last minute chapters assigned for homework. In the beginning, I was apprehensive about taking the class. I had to work really hard in order to keep up with things and push my abilities to the next level. Now that I have spent nine months in this AP Literature and Composition class, I truly believe that I have become an immensely better student overall and I am confident that the skills I have learned throughout this class will help me excel in college as well.

Some Things I've Learned
1. Exploring different genres allows for more creative writing and analysis
2. Seminar is the key to understanding
3. Keep an open mind
#1:
Exploring different genres allows for more creative writing and analysis
The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini was a multicultural novel that allowed us to experience a hint of the culture in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The Book Thief, by Marcus Zusak allowed us to realize that experimenting with narrators can put a whole new spin on a piece of literature while also allowing our minds to experience new things.
#2:
Seminar is the key to understanding
"The curtains are blue"
turns into...
"The blue curtains reflect the main character feeling deeply sad about her cat getting run over in the road approximately two months ago and now she will forever live out her sadness through those blue curtains."
